Our Executive Director Linda Wolf and our lead facilitator Genevieve Smeeth led eight Teen Talking Circles this year for Seattle Children’s Hospital. What an amazing experience! These circles were filmed by the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Below is the first video, Meet the Circle. All the videos can be found at the Good Times and Bald Times Youtube channel.
Watch the video, leave a comment, and pass it on to friends and family. This is phenomenal work! And these young adults have a powerful message.
This is a great way to post and also be informed of classic TTC events, such as our upcoming Fundraiser in Seattle this December, where Christen Lien will be performing.

I would imagine it to be so reassuring for these young cancer survivors to be able to share their feelings, their hopes, their fears, with each other. The Circle experience, I’m sure, would benefit teens with other illnesses, as well….feeling isolated is, unfortunately, so common in people who have a potentially life-threatening illness. Recognizing connections and feeling supported and loved has got to have both physical and emotional benefits.
